Drainage Bed

An often overlooked detail which is vitally important to the long term life and enjoyment of your flagpole. It's important to drain the water away from the base of your pole for a number of reasons. Pole stability and longevity being just two of them.

Ground Sleeve

This holds your flagpole in place but also allows you the flexibility to easily remove it if you choose. Maybe you are moving and want to take your flagpole with you or maybe you simply decide to rearrange your landscaping and wish to relocate it to another place in the yard or perhaps your adding on to your home and need to move it. The point is, your not tied to that one location. You have the flexibility to very easily move it whenever you wish.

Stop Bolt

Another important detail of our Flagpole installations that many others do not include. This item not only helps with the Drainage system but it also is integral to grounding the pole and is an essential component in extending the long term life of a flagpole.

Grounding System

This is a very important detail that is often overlooked by many flagpole installation companies but not by us. We ground all of our flagpole installations with a solid copper line driven directly into the earth and with its design it maintains direct and continuous contact with the pole while not interfering with your ability to remove the pole at any time

Reinforced Foundation

The industry standard when pouring cement for a Flagpole base is to make it 4 to 6 times the diameter of the pole. It is also commonplace with residential poles to not place steel in that cement. At Affordable Flagpoles we do things differently. We construct our foundations ranging from 6 to 9 times the diameter of the pole. Another step we take in the construction of our Flagpole foundations is the incorporation of a steel reinforcement cage into the high strength concrete that we use. This cage is composed of both horizontal and vertical rebar. In addition to those details we also incorporate a grounding system and a Drainage system into all bases. Our foundations are designed and built to be significantly stronger than your average residential flagpole base. They actually have more in common with larger commercial installations than they do with traditional residential installs.

Pole

The pole itself is the heart of the flagpole. Ours is a solid one piece made out of steel which is far stronger than aluminum and it's galvanized steel so it inhibits rust. Galvanized poles generally have a lifespan longer than people do so you can have confidence in the knowledge that you should never have to replace your flagpole.

Cleat

A large heavy duty solid cast aluminum cleat secured to the pole with stainless steel bolts makes raising and lowering flags and securing the Halyard convenient and easy.

Truck Cap

Aluminum Truck with vinyl wheel pulley system is designed to be maintenance free and provide years of continuous work with exposure to the element. It also gives you all potential flying possibilities including full staff, half staff and multi flag options.

Gold Finial Ball

Adds a nice decorative finish touch to the top of your flagpole while also keeping water out of the center of the flagpole.

Halyard

We don't simply use cheap rope from the local box store. Our Halyards are actually high quality Polyester Solid Braided and are designed specifically for long term continuous exposure to the elements and provide years of use on flagpoles.

Vinyl Snaps

Allows you to very easily and conveniently attach and detach your flags from the Halyard and being vinyl makes for a quiet operation.

Flag

All of our Flagpole Setups include a high quality aniline-dyed color protected Stitched and Sewn American flag made from 100% heavyweight 200-denier Nylon complete with white poly-cotton header and solid brass grommets sized appropriately for the pole that's being installed. No single piece cheap printed flags here!
